How to change your BlackBerry TCP settings

If you are experiencing problems getting connected to EQO Mobile on your Blackberry, the most likely reason is that you do not have a TCP/IP connection. To change your TCP settings follow these steps:

1) From the main menu, select Options.

2) Then select Advanced Options.

3) Then select TCP.

4) Enter the settings for your carrier*.

5) Save the settings.

6) Reboot your BlackBerry by removing and reinserting the battery.

HELP !!

I am using opera mini without blackberry pearl's browser. I am paying only for the data service. I can normally surf web on opera mini. I tried the link to download, It says leaving opera to invoke browser, I said 'yes' and then the error message came up.

Under TCP settings I have the following prefilled.
APN : internet.com
Username for APN: wapuser1
Password for APN: ***

I am using Rogers wirelss service, Canada.

Please help,

Change your TCP settings as follows:

APN: internet.com
Username/password is blank

I sent the download to the

I sent the download to the phone to my mail box. when I installed and
signed in I get to "Welcome to EQO" Then, after it trying to optimize
still saying connecting at the top..I wait and says could take several
minutes.. It takes about 2 minutes, then I get "connection error 05
connection attempt timed out please try again". I have signal, there
should be nothing wrong.. Screen goes black after 3 minutes and if I
hit the volume switch to light it up.. I get that message..

I followed instructions to change TCP to the T_MO US1 setting of internet.voicestream.com It still times out and wont set up

I think Peter has been emailing you? This is definitely a connection problem, likely caused by complications with T-Mobile's network. I have successfully connected on internet2.voicestream.com, is that one available for you to try?

I was looking the sprint tcp info on the page you suggest but I couldn't find it, I am using opera mini to try to download eqo, but it send me to bb browser and form ther to no where, it said that I need to call my carrier.
Can you help me with that?

Sprint is a CDMA network and CDMA networks do not use TCP info--this would explain why you can't find any information.

Try using the BB browser to download EQO--go to http://get.eqo.com on that and see if that helps.
