Does EQO PC work from behind a proxy server?

Hi, I am having problem using EQO for Skype Plug-in at work. My office network has a proxy server that requires authentication. Applications such as IE and Skype works without problem because I can set it up to work with proxy. I can't figure out where to set EQO PC to work with this proxy, and suspect that it is the reason why it can't connect to server. The symptom is as follows: - I start the EQO PC - I put in username and password and click "connect" - The EQO icon starts showing that swirling animation - A popup dialog box says that I have to wait while it connects to server - I wait and wait and nothings changes for over 15 minutes Any advice on how to get it to work will be very much appreciated. Best regards, Akarin PS. I have already checked firewall setting and make sure that EQO is included as one of the exceptions.

found the answer --> "No"

I have just seen in another post that EQO is working on adding the capability to work from behind a proxy server. So I guess the short answer for now is that it does NOT work from behind a proxy server.

Keeping my finger crossed!

RE: found the answer --> "No"

You've figured it out on your own, we've not implemented connection via proxy with EQO for Skype Plug-in. Hopefully we'll be able to do this in the future. In the mean time, can you run the EQO for Skype Plug-in on a different computer?

Have you guys managed to sort out the problem with using EQO and having a proxy server to connect out to the internet.

I would love to use this software at work and we have to go through our proxy server. Has this issue been resolved. I get the message "Unable to reach the server, please try again later.

re: proxy server

Hi,

Sorry, as you probably assumed, this issue is yet to be resolved. And, as most of our resources are now focused on new projects, I don't see this issue being addressed in the near future.
