blackberry IM popup alert in background mode?

When I run the EQO in background by blackberry, and a new IM messege can poppup the IM content and alert me?

Now just have the sound alert.

This would be a nice feature to have indeed. I'll pass it on to see if it is something we can do for a future build. Thanks for the input. It's users like yourself that help us make EQO even better.

Another good idea indeed. It has been passed on along with the other message. There's been some positive reactions to it. I can't say if or when we will do this, but please keep the suggestions coming. We look at them all objectively.

Repeating Beeps

I sometimes don't have time to look at incoming messages when they arrive. Its cool how the chat tab flashes, but on my Blackberry I don't always have EQO in the foreground. Would it be possible to have the app continue to beep every few minutes until the incoming message has been reviewed? A beep would be preferred over the LED flashing as I wear my phones in belt holsters and don't see the LEDs.

This could be an option that could be turned off for those that don't need it.

This is another interesting idea. I've passed it on and it has been agreed that it would be a very useful feature. As always, I cannot say if and when it will be implemented. Sorry. :P Keep the good suggestions coming!
