Are we back to Beta times?

Yesterday Nov 28th I downloaded the last EQO version for Symbian. I am using an N95 with the firmware updated.
I updated EQO. EQO didn’t open.
I uninstalled EQO, I installed EQO again and EQO ran OK. He asked me to look into my phone address book looking for EQO friends. I agreed, because I had uninstalled EQO before.
All went flawlessly.
I was happy. EQO got connected to the server and then I tried to use Yahoo, MSN and Gmail chats. EQO never got connected to the services.
Finally I back to my previous EQO version. 1.6.1
Today I realized that my 5 EQO contacts were destroyed in my phone Address Book. Only nicknames remain, first name and last name were erased in the 5 contacts.
I have been using a WI FI APN.
